The Population of Malo Peshtene varies between 40 and 60. Malo Peshtene is the smallest village in the municipality of Vratza. All the people who live in the village are bulgarians. The youngest of them are at the age of 50. Although through the summer the village is full of children. They play and explore the sunny glades nearby the village.

For the last 15 years a lot of people from EU bought houses in the village and spend their holidays here.
The people of Malo Peshtene are grateful to all the Vratza's newspapers and TV stations, Bulgarian national Television, Trud daily and The Slavi's show for mentioning our village in their work.
